School Shows
The Cowguys also provide educational shows for schools. Currently they are offering shows under the themes "Practice Makes Perfect" and "Healthy Eating and Excercise." The shows run 45 minutes in duration and can take place in your schools gymnasium. Each show is full of circus stunts, and interactive comedy, and strong messaging. The Cowguys get the kids laughing and having fun all the while educating and informing. Learning can be this fun.
"Practice Makes Perfect"
- A demonstration of circus stunts, with the message of "Practice Makes Perfect." The emphasis is that with enough hard work and practice you can do or become anything. (skills, and vocational)
"Healthy Eating and Excercise"
- A discussion on eating well (the four food groups) and the importance of daily exerecise. This is demonstrated with circus skills audience participation, Q & A and juggling of the food groups.
Workshops
The Cowguys teach workshops in various disciplines including; theatre, improv, street performance technique, circus skills - juggling, balancing, plate spinning, stilts, globe walking, diabolo (chinese yo-yo), balloon origami, and even yo-yo. These workshops can be made appriopriate for children (ages 7yrs and up) or even adults as a team-building exercise.
The Cowguys supply equipment to be used at the workshop, and can provide equipment for your group to keep, or equipment for sale after the workshop.
